The Most High Was Working While I Was Worried

1. Worry Will Make You Forget What God Already Promised

There were nights I stayed up thinking too hard about situations I could not control. Bills, relationships, stress, disappointment, unanswered prayers… it all starts weighing heavy on your mind after a while. Sometimes life gets so loud that worry starts sounding more believable than faith. That is why Jeremiah 29:11 hits different when you have actually been through something real.

God already knew how the story would end while I was still panicking over the middle part. That is the crazy thing about faith. We worry because we only see today, but God sees next month, next year, and doors we do not even know are about to open. What felt like confusion to me was still part of God’s plan.
2. God Still Moves Even During Delays

A lot of people think faith means you never get scared, but that is not true. Real faith is continuing to move forward even when fear keeps trying to sit on your shoulders. Some days you pray while smiling. Other days you pray while tired, frustrated, and emotionally drained. But prayer still counts. God still listens. Even weak prayers can reach our strong God.

Looking back, there were moments I thought everything was falling apart, but later I realized things were actually falling into place. Certain people had to leave. Certain doors had to close. Certain delays had to happen. If everything worked out the way I wanted immediately, I probably would have walked into situations that were not truly meant for me. Sometimes God protects you by slowing things down.
3. Your Future Is Bigger Than Your Current Stress

That is why I cannot let worry control me the way it used to. Stress will have you believing nothing is changing, while God is quietly working behind the scenes the whole time. Every lesson, every setback, every lonely season was building something inside me I did not even realize I needed.

Jeremiah 29:11 is more than just a motivational verse. It is a reminder that God has not forgotten us. While I was worried, God was already working.
